WGRN Staff Reporter, Ivy Lyons
Ivy: What was your night?
Luke Emmert: I was first at Ashley Hurley’s Jury, and then I went to Fusion Practice, and then I chilled for a little bit, and then I went to some part of the Factory Theatre and I worked selling tickets for Charlies Aunt at the Door. And I got to see the first act of the show. I would say a solid 9/10. This show will have you rolling on the floor because you’re laughing so hard. It is so good.
Ivy: What do you think of the cast- when you watched them you were like “they really stuck out to me” or “their killing it in the first act”
Luke: This may be biased, but definitely my Co-host Nathaniel Weaver has to play both a man and a woman in the play. And he does a great job.
Ivy: There’s nothing more exciting, in my opinion, than getting the opportunity to go and see [Factory Theatre Productions]. The Factory Theatre is absolutely killing it. With- avoiding spoilers- maybe the funniest moment you can think of?
Luke: Oh, well, I didn’t see it all, so thankfully-
Ivy: The Funniest moment in the First Act?
Luke: That would-
Ivy: I know, I’m putting you in a corner, right?
Ivy: Funny moments.
Luke: I would have to say when Nathaniel is introduced as Miss Donna Lucia, which is Charlie’s Aunt. It’s just the reactions from everyone in the audience, the actors, that moment Is just perfect. And you will understand what I mean if you go see it.
Ivy: How much are the tickets?
Luke: The tickets are $5 for students $10 for general admission. There’s no specific seating, so you can just walk in and sit anywhere. We do take Credit Cards at the door.
Ivy: That’s all that I have. You are more than welcome to go see Charlie’s Aunt in the Factory Theatre both this weekend and next weekend Thursday through Saturday 7:30 to 9:30. It’s a pretty nice show, and I would encourage you to go out. If you’re looking for tickets I am actually going to be giving away a ticket to Charlie’s Aunt. If you want, go to ivylyons.com I will be handling all that through there.
