I was very touched to look back at the inbox(es) for my projects and see so much interest, fun questions, and chaotic/interesting project ideas. For the past several months, I’ve been trying to work out what exactly I could do to get more interesting media content out into the universe.
To be honest, I stopped making a ton of things (including some research projects) out of ethical and personal time concerns. The mental energy was needed elsewhere. Now that time and energy are beginning to avail themselves, I am much more willing to take on the projects and self care aides promised a while ago.
The Details
What We Know Now is coming back in May of 2025 (we have priorities). Those who were subscribed to the podcast may see a few archived graduate projects in the feed, and a few graduate school projects reentering the feed! Don’t be surprised, just enjoy the ride.
That means WWKNPod.com will house my media criticism and projects that look more research-coded than my more personal blog posts and scribbles. It will also host podcast transcripts and other content related to current events, public scholarship, and politics – I don’t want that here, pookie.
My blog (where you are now) will be home to a lot more of the public notes and good vibes I want to share with the world. I will likely be pushing my social media here, as I really haven’t come to terms with the ethics of using most social media platforms for anything other than outreach/meeting people where they’re at in 2025.
skyverson lee will reflect a deeper promise to parts and a praxis/project space for me. This means skyverson.com will be able to feature a bunch of short stories, poetry, creative writing, music, and chaotic projects not yet tangible. (I make no promises when it comes to the nature and regularity of this project — I can barely promise grammatically accurate blogposts here!)
I also plan to return to regular streaming on Twitch for grad-school-self-care reasons! There may even be an occasional video essay or longform stream on YouTube! My therapist is gonna love this one.
